Day 32: July 29, 2005
Tennessee

Volunteering is good I guess...

Someone should volunteer to teach people in the south how to drive. Seeing traffic on this major highway, people were BACKING DOWN THE ONE-WAY ON RAMP AT FULL SPEED to turn around!! I have never seen or heard of such a thing. These people probably had never seen or heard of traffic before, which might explain the reason they were fleeing like it was a nuclear bomb going off.

Cut the a break I guess. Can't expect much from states that put the Raisin Bran two-scoops guy on their license plates.

Beautiful Ozarks scenery. In spite of this, we consciously and seriously avoided having to camp in the South, because we were frightened.

Drivin' in Memphis.

More mountains (not quite like the ones out west eh?).

Next: Alabama
