Day 31: July 28, 2005
South Dakota
The next day, we begin a tour of the monuments of South Dakota.
"Mt. Rushmore is out there somewhere... I can feel it."
Crowds of stinking tourists.
Apparently, a few days before we were there they washed the faces. Except
for TR's, nobody notices him back there.
Next stop was the Crazy Horse monument. They've been working on this thing
since the '50s and this is as far as they've gotten.
A plaster model show's what it will look like in the year 3248.
Next stop--Can't hit SD without stopping in Deadwood!
The main attraction here is the cemetery. Major spoilers for season 3 lie
within.

Day 32: July 29, 2005
The next morning, back on the road, we stop at Wall Drug. Where the HECK is
Wall Drug? It's right here jackass.
Wall Drug is right next to Badlands National Park, which you can see out
there.
Across the state in Mitchell, we com across the legendary Corn Palace.
They change the exterior every year, with new corn.
