Day 32: July 29, 2005
Alabama

We cut into Alabama just to say we were there. The camera focuses on a bug streak instead of the welcome sign but we didn't bother re-doing the shot. For two kids in their twenties from the New York area, crossing into Alabama is about the same feeling as crossing into Iraq waving an American flag. I'm surprised we didn't take any fire during our five minute stay.
