Humor
COMICS:
-Penny
Arcade!
The most successful, most imitated webcomic. Deals mostly
with video-gaming related humor.
-Questionable
Content
Story-based comic about indie rock fans and sexual tension. Fantastic,
unique Wacom-created art and excellent writing.
-Chugworth Academy
Sometimes they do mini-storylines about street-smart pancake cops who
fight bacon. If that doesn't make you want to read it I have no more use
for you.
-The Perry Bible Fellowship
Childrens book style comics about horrbile, horrible things.
-Parry and Carney
Scientifically accurate dinosaurs debate scientific things
and then get their heads bitten off.
-explodingdog
These simple little Wacom tablet drawings of stick men are sometimes thoughtful
illustrations of the despair and bitter unrequited longing of the human
experience. It's actually very depressing.
-copper
Another non-funny comic with great artwork and a contempletive tone. Like
the webcomic version of a Nick Drake album.
-a
softer world.
A sometimes serious, sometimes poetic, sometimes darkly humorous photo
comic strip that is even more introspective, contempletive, and arty than
explodingdog, if you can fathom that.
50
Things I Learned In Dino Class
The wit and wisdom of Dr. Tom Holtz. Not much explanation needed- this is the stuff
dreams and Az-Dar comics are made of.
Commercials I Hate
Bitter guy in the biz rips sarcastically into stupid TV adverts. Be sure
to read the Gatorade Saga, it's priceless stuff.
Science Made Stupid
Hilarious site if you're so inclined. |
Paleontology

The Tree of Life
It's taken hundreds of people and many years and
this site is STILL under construction. But it's a great reference for
classification of all life, so if you're into that for some sick reason
(like me) check it out.
